24-30 Students Injured When CenterPoint Truck Rear-Ends Bus
Two Navasota ISD School buses were rear-ended by a CenterPoint Energy Truck on US 290 Wednesday morning

CYPRESS, TX — As many as 30 students from Navasota ISD were injured when their school bus was rear-ended by a CenterPoint truck Wednesday morning.
The incident happened on eastbound U.S. 290 near Fairbanks N. Houston Road at about 9:30 a.m.
Officials said two school buses with fifth graders aboard were traveling into Houston for a field trip, when one of the buses was rear-ended by the CenterPoint truck.

The bus that was hit from behind by the CenterPoint truck was pushed that bus into the rear end of the first bus, KTRK reported..
As many as 30 people were injured, with six taken to North Cypress Medical Center and Cy-Fair Hospital, according to a Tweet from the Houston Fire Department.
