Not everyone has enough cash in their pocket for a complex dental procedure, but with dental financing, you can get the smile you want, when you want it, at a price that fits your budget. There are even different types of dental financing, so you can find a plan that perfectly suits your needs. Looks like you won’t have to sell your kidney on the black market to afford your dental implants after all!

Patient financing

If your dentist offers patient financing, they’ll connect you with lenders you can borrow money from to pay for your dental procedure. You’ll receive your treatment and pay it off over time. It’s kind of like buying a new car, only it’s a new set of teeth! Like paying the bank after taking out a loan for a car, you’ll simply submit affordable monthly payments to the lender for your dental treatment. The best part? Patient financing could cover procedures as low as $300 to as high as $30,000!

For example, you may qualify for Care Credit, one of the most popular and well-known lenders for medical and dental expenses. Once a credit line is extended to you, you can use your Care Credit card whenever you want, as many times as you want.

In-house payment plan

In-house payment plans work much like lender financing. The difference is that instead of paying an outside lender, you’ll be reimbursing the dentist directly for the cost of your dental procedure. This form of payment can cover procedures as much as $5,000, and you can receive treatment as soon as you want.

Government programs

There are several government programs available to children and young adults who qualify. Participation in these programs is often contingent upon income. Here are the most widely known and accepted programs that can help you receive the dental care you deserve.
