NFL 2017 Draft: The Houston Texans Select….
Could it be a quarterback, an offensive tackle? or some other position of need? Texans fans will know tonight.
The Houston Texans are no stranger to draft turmoil over the last several years. Since at least 2014, there has been the distinct clamouring for a quarterback.
Head Coach Bill O’Brien heard that noise loud and clear, but passed on the likes of Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo, and (thank goodness) Johnny Manziel in 2015, opting instead for free agent cast offs Brian Hoyer, Ryan Mallett, and then signing quarterback disaster Brock Osweiler in 2016.
The Texans may own the 25th pick in the first round, but it’s possible 2017 could be the year they move in the draft and pick up on Deshaun Watson or Patrick Mahomes, as some have projected.

Or will they grab a quality offensive tackle? Possibly Cam Robinson or Ryan Ramczyk?
