Parking Lot Robbery And Car Accident Caught On Video
What started as a money order transaction turned into an armed robbery and car accident.
HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is searching for three men seen robbing another in West Houston in a newly released video from March 8. The incident began at 4:50 p.m. at a Walmart located at Westheimer and Kirkwood, HPD wrote on YouTube.
After getting a money order from a man, the victim and his friend walked back to his vehicle and as they were leaving, a light green Chrysler 300 pulled up and two men exited and walked towards their vehicle, HPD wrote. At the same time, two Houston Police Officers rode up on bicycles while patrolling the area. The suspects then turned around and got back into the Chrysler 300.
The victim then drove to an apartment at 12401 Overbrook in order to drop off a friend. After the complainant dropped his friend off and was about to leave, an unknown man opened his driver’s door and placed a gun to his head, HPD said.
