Pawn Shop Robbery Caught On Surveillance Video
The suspects attempted to steal from an EZ Pawn in early August.
HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is searching for two men who robbed an EZ Pawn in North Houston. The incident occurred Aug. 1 at 3:40 p.m. at 5419 Antoine Drive, HPD wrote on YouTube.
The incident began after two men ran into the business carrying hammers and told employees and customers that no one would get hurt so long as they stayed still, HPD said. The suspects banged on the glass display cases with the hammers but were unable to break it.
"While one of the suspects was attempting to break the glass, he cut his hand and left blood (DNA) at the scene. The suspects then gave up and left the store, driving away in a green Dodge Ram pickup," HPD wrote.

The suspects are described as between 18 and 22-years-old. The first suspect was 5’10 to 6’ tall, has brown eyes, and was wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, and white shirt. The second suspect was wearing a black hoodie and black pants, HPD wrote.
