Pawn Shop Robbery Caught On Surveillance Video
The three suspects can be seen on video smashing through display glass to steal jewelry.
HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is searching for three men seen on video robbing a pawn shop in West Houston Oct. 24. The robbery began at 6:27 p.m. at Valu Pawn on 9725 Bissonnet, HPD wrote on YouTube.
The video shows one suspect acting as a look-out while the two others walked to the display cases. The suspect carrying a sledgehammer began to break the glass while the other placed the jewelry in a bag.
"The suspects appeared to be wearing heavy duty gloves in order to not get cut while removing the glass from the cases. The suspects were able to take several pieces of jewelry and then fled the store in a black Mercury Marquis," HPD wrote.
