Pharmacy Robbery In East Houston Caught On Video
The five suspects spent five minutes ransacking a pharmacy at 8503 Gulf Freeway.
HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is searching for five suspects seen on video robbing a Peoples Pharmacy, located at 8503 Gulf Freeway. The robbery occurred May 2 at 11:15 a.m., according to HPD on YouTube.
The surveillance video shows the man forcing their way into the pharmacy while an employee was taking the trash out through the back, HPD said. The suspects forced the employee to the ground and tied her legs at her ankles together with duct tape. The suspects then spent roughly five minutes removing several boxes of prescription medicine before fleeing in an unknown direction, HPD said.
Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org.
