Police Looking For Man Who Attacked Woman With A Hammer
Crime Stoppers is officer a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

HOUSTON, TX -- Police have released the sketch of a man who they believe attacked a woman with a hammer in November.
The incident happened at about 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 2.
The woman told investigators that she was out walking around her neighborhood in the 8800 block of Vesper Street, when a man drove up behind her, jumped out and attacked her with the hammer.

The woman said theman hit her in the head several times, and then tried to pull her into his car.
The woman, who was carrying mace, fought back and sprayed her attacker in the face and was able to get away from him and call for help.

Police did not say how badly the woman was injured from the attack.
The attacker is described as an Hispanic man who is between 20 to 30 years old, 160 to 170 pounds and between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with dark, crew cut hair.
The man’s vehicle was described as a late 90s to early 2000s blue, two-door, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, with a small red-and-white-striped sticker on the driver’s side door or windshield.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging or arrest of this man.
