Popular Casual Dining Brand Targets the Greater Houston Area for Major Expansion
Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar Looks to Bring 15-20 Restaurants to Area in Next 10 Years

Following numerous successful openings both in the U.S. and Mexico, Dallas-based Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s), announced today it has identified Houston as the next major expansion hub for the brand. Responding to consumer’s demands for a casual dining spot that offers quality food made with the freshest ingredients, Boston’s unveiled its plans to bring 15-20 restaurants to the market over the next 10 years.
“Boston’s has the capability to be just as widespread of a brand stateside as its sister brand, Boston’s Pizza, is in Canada,” said Ken Phipps, Director of Franchise Sales for Boston’s. “Houston has tremendous long term growth potential and with our unmatched dining experience, we are confident that the brand will translate well into the market.”
Boston’s recently underwent major company renovations, implementing positive changes that leave it perfectly positioned for sustained growth. With a newly designed prototype including sleek yet comfortable finishes, an enlarged sports bar, and a premium TV package, Boston’s is setting the bar for new casual dining standards. Boston’s also enhanced their menu offerings by adding new items such as thin crust pizzas, new chicken wing flavors, salads, homemade desserts, gourmet pastas, and hand-pressed burgers.

“The Boston’s brand is iconic in Canada and we are gaining traction here in the U.S. as well,” added Phipps. “We look forward to finding the right franchise partner in order to bring this unique experience to the people of Houston.”
The company has also launched an internal campaign called the Road to 100, a company-wide goal of growing the brand to 100 restaurants in the next three years through qualified franchise partners. Potential franchisees would preferably have current or prior full-service restaurant hospitality/service experience and must possess strong business acumen and analytics. In addition, they should have a strong desire to deliver a high level of service that exceeds customer’s expectations.
