President Trump to Visit Houston for Rally Oct. 22

Trump Looking to Rally Support for Sen. Ted Cruz Ahead of 2018 General Election in Texas

President Trump will be visiting Houston, Texas, for a rally next Monday at the NRG Arena. This is the second time that President Trump has held a rally in Houston since the beginning of presidential campaign in June of 2015.

Trump is using the rally to generate more support for former political opponent Senator Ted Cruz. The Republican senator is currently in a re-election race with Democrat Beto O’Rourke. Trump is keen to promote further Republican growth in the House and the Senate by helping to get voters to the polls in Houston and throughout Texas in general.

According to Trump’s campaign team, another key topic of discussion at the rally will be the success of his “America First” agenda and the growth of the American economy. In an effort to maintain the GOP majorities in the House and the Senate, Trump plans to discuss his major successes in job growth for all of Texas.
