Purse Snatcher In West Houston Seen On Video
The incident happened Nov. 30 in front of an apartment complex at 7220 South Gessner.
HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is searching for a man seen on surveillance video stealing a woman's purse Nov. 30 in West Houston. The woman had just gotten off the Metro bus and was walking in front of an apartment complex, located at 7220 South Gessner, when her purse was grabbed at 6 p.m., HPD wrote on YouTube.
"A two toned light colored 2000 to 2005 SUV pulled up in front of the complainant as a male approached her from behind and forcibly grabbed her purse," HPD added. "The male suspect then ran to the awaiting vehicle and got into the passenger seat as the victim attempted to get her purse back."
The suspect is described as 23 to 26-years-old, 5’7 to 5’9 tall, and weighing 150 to 160 pounds.
