Raven Ridge Drive Shooting: Houston Police Release Sketch Of Suspect

Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two others.

December 5, 2019 - Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two others that occurred at 4807 Raven Ridge Drive about 1:10 a.m. on December 1.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a hoodie and had much of his face covered. A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.

One victim, Juan Jose Medrano, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims, 45 and 25, were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.

Mr. Medrano was attending a party at a residence at the above residence when an unknown male suspect approached the house and began shooting, injuring the two victims. The suspect then began shooting into the backyard and fatally struck Mr. Medrano.

The suspect fled with two other suspects in a vehicle believed to be a Buick LeSabre or similar model.
