Robbery At Cell Phone Store Captured On Video

The incident happened in northwest Houston on Sept. 14.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is searching for a man seen on video robbing a Metro PCS Sept. 14 in northwest Houston. The incident happened at 6925 Long Point at 7:40 p.m., HPD wrote on YouTube.

The suspect can be seen pulling out a handgun while running up to the employee and threatening to kill him if he didn’t give him all the money, HPD said. The suspect struck the employee on the forehead with the handgun and threatened to kill him again. Once the suspect had the money from the cash register, he forced the employee to the back office and demanded more money. After giving him money, the suspect struck the employee in the head again before fleeing the scene in a unknown direction, HPD said.

The suspect is described as 20 to 25-years-old, 5’5 to 5’7 tall, 150 to 170 pounds and wearing a black Nike pullover, black pants, and blue bandanna, HPD said.
