Robbery At East Houston Bar Caught On Video
The robbery occurred Aug. 7 at Estrella Del Mar Cantina.
HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is searching for two men who were seen on video robbing a bar in East Houston Aug. 7. The incident at Estrella Del Mar Cantina, on 2208 McCarty St., began at 10:55 p.m., HPD wrote on YouTube.
One of the suspects walked around the bar, pointed a handgun at the employee, and demanded money from the register, HPD said. After taking the money, the suspect took money from the employee lying on the ground. The other suspect approached the customers and demanded their property before both suspects fled in an unknown direction, HPD said.
Both suspects are between 19 to 25-years-old. The first suspect was described as 5’06 tall, weighing 180 pounds, and wore a gray hoodie and dark pants. The other suspect was 5’5 to 5’6 tall, 175 to 185 pounds, and wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
