Santa Claus Makes His Rounds In Downtown Houston This Weekend

Naughty or Nice: The jolly old elf makes his apearance at several downtown locations on Saturday

HOUSTON, TX — Santa Claus is coming to downtown Houston this weekend,and if you're a kid at heart you don't want to miss the chance to see the jolly old elf.

Santa will be out and about in downtown Houston this Saturday, Dec. 9, with visits to an art market, breakfast buffets and even on the ice rink.

Heartmade Holiday Art Market Event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. / photo opps with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. This outdoor urban market takes place at Main Street Square, in the heart of Downtown Houston, and features the work of 55 local artists who sell wares ranging from jewelry and apparel to home goods and art. Also expect food truck fare, a children's imagination station, strolling Christmas carolers and more. More information here and images here.

9th Annual Gingerbread Build-Off Event from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. / see Santa from 12 to 2 p.m. More information here.
