Santa Fe Man Arrested For Dragging Puppy Tied To His Pickup.

The puppy, which survived the dragging, is in the care of the county animal control department while owner is charged with animal cruelty.

GALVESTON, TX -- A man is facing animal cruelty charges after police said he was seen dragging a puppy that was tied to his truck.

The incident was called into the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 4 by a concerned citizen who said the man, Raymond Roy Hall was dragging a puppy that was tied to his pickup along a roadway.

Police went to Hall’s home in Santa Fe and arrested him, and charged him with animal cruelty.

The puppy, which survived the incident, was confiscated and turned over to animal control officials.

Hall was later released on a $20,000 bond.
