Super Bowl LI Draws Hollywood A-listers, Athletes And The Vice President
Sightings reported all over the Houston area as rich and famous converge in town for Super Bowl LI.
HOUSTON, TX -- The Super Bowl may be the biggest game in town, but it’s also known for being a magnet for the rich, famous and powerful.
Hollywood A-listers and athletes have already begun to make their way to the Bayou City and have already encountered a few locals who’ve managed to snap a selfie or two in the process.
Actor Terry Crews was spotted at the George R. Brown Convention Center where the NFL Experience has drawn thousands, and others such as former Cowboys quarterback and NFL analyst Troy Aikman and TV talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw have been seen at several Super Bowl gatherings already.

Politics won’t be taking a break from the big game, and it rarely ever does.
Presidents and political royalty have been known to pop in at these events.
Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford were huge football fans, with Nixon being a self-professed Washington Redskins fan, while Ford was a college football star for the University of Michigan.
According to a Twitter post from CNN, Vice President Mike Pence will be at NRG stadium for Super Bowl LI.
However, there is no indication if Pence is favoring ether the New England Patriots or Atlanta Falcons.
Meanwhile, some entertainers are using their clout to help the less fortunate in the Houston area.
On Monday, Hip-Hop artists Bun B and Slim Thug joined Rap-A-Lot Records CEO James Prince at St. John’s Church where Prince hosted a Super Bowl fish fry for the homeless.
“When you give, you know what I mean, you receive as well,” Prince told KHOU. “It's like a high with me. It's a high where you don't have to a drug. It's a high in giving.”
Prince also handed out sleeping bags and wellness kits to the homeless and said he plans to host another event like this one, next year.
If the desire for a chance encounter with Hollywood A-listers is on our bucket list, the places to be this weekend include the Galleria, Discovery Green, Club Nomadic and the Toyota Center where the Rockets will be playing this weekend.
