Suspect Arrested In Death Of 38-Year-Old Houston Woman
Maria Marquez was found dead in a pickup truck parked in a field Nov. 21 in southeast Houston.
HOUSTON, TX -- A suspect has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of 38-year-old Houston woman Nov. 21. Maria Marquez was found dead in a pickup truck parked in a field at 8520 LaPorte Freeway at 8:45 p.m., HPD said in a news release.
Luis Moron Romero, 36, has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence.
Romero was taken into custody on Tuesday and admitted to investigators his involvement in Marquez's death, HPD said.
