Suspect Arrested In Houston And Charged With Capital Murder

Suspect Wilfred Boudine​ was arrested and charged with capital murder.

HOUSTON, TX -- A 25-year-old man has been charged with capital murder in the fatal shooting of a man Nov. 2 in South Houston. Anthony Anderson, 63, of Houston, was shot and killed at 3700 Wood Valley at about 11 a.m., HPD said. Suspect Wilfred Boudine was arrested Wednesday.

Witnesses heard Anderson and the suspect talking inside a vehicle in the driveway of a vacant property and then saw Anderson walk away from the vehicle, HPD said in a news release.

"The suspect fired multiple shots at Anderson and he continued walking down the street. The suspect then pulled up next to Anderson and shot him two more times before fleeing the scene in Anderson's 2013 silver Toyota Corolla," HPD said.

Texas City Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop Nov. 13 on the vehicle which was being driven by Boudine. He was taken into custody and subsequently charged for his role in Anderson's death, HPD said.
