Suspect Arrested In Shooting Death Of 37-Year-Old Houston Man

Joseph Deshun Dunn​, 33, was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder, police said.

HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department has arrested a man and charged him with murder in the death of a 37-year-old man Sept. 9 in North Houston. Joseph Deshun Dunn, 33, was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder, HPD said in a news release. Antonio Hogan was shot and killed at 794 Prosper at about 2:25 a.m.

Hogan and a female friend were in front of Hogan's home when a black 4-door sedan with two men inside stopped in front of the house, HPD wrote.

"The male passenger got out of the car and began arguing with Hogan before pulling out a gun and shooting him. Both suspects then fled the scene in the sedan, possibly a Chrysler or Cadillac," HPD wrote.

Upon arrest, Dunn was found to be in possession of narcotics when he was arrested; he was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
