Suspect Caught On Video Robbing A Subway With A Note

The suspect handed an employee a note demanding money from the cashier.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is searching for man seen on video robbing a Subway restaurant in West Houston Sept. 9. The incident occurred at 5156 Buffalo Speedway at 11:25 a.m., HPD wroteon YouTube along with the surveillance video.

The man can be seen walking up to an employee standing behind the counter and asking her if they were hiring. The male then handed the employee a note demanding money and then stated that if she called the police, he would come back and kill her, HPD wrote. The employee complied with the suspect before he left the restaurant.

The suspect is described as being 45 to 50 years old, 5’7 to 5’9 tall, and weighing 170 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, dark colored pullover, dark blue pants, and white shoes, HPD said.
