Suspect In Death Of 18-Year-Old Arrested, Charged With Murder
The deadly shooting happened early Monday morning on South Drive in West Houston.

HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department has charged a 23-year-old man with murder following a deadly shooting in West Houston. Edwin Isaac Aguila was charged in the 232nd State District Court after a shooting early Monday morning, HPD said in a news release.
The victim, Osmen Mar, 18, was pronounced dead late Monday. The shooting happened at at 10440 South Drive about 2 a.m., HPD said.
"Mar, who was intoxicated, was visiting his girlfriend at the above address and got angry when she asked him to leave. Mar began breaking windows and damaging his girlfriend's vehicle," HPD said. "She then called Aguila, her ex-boyfriend with whom she has a child with. Aguila then drove to the location, showed Mar a gun and fired one shot, striking him in the head. Aguila was arrested at the scene."
