Suspects In Spring Couple's Murder Held Without Bond

HOUSTON, TX — Three men who are facing capital murder charges in the murder of a Spring couple are being held in the Harris County Jail without bond.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office homicide investigators Khari Ty Kendrick, 23, Aakiel Ricardo Kendrick, 21, and Erick Alfredo Peralta, 20, on Wednesday for the murders of Bao and Jenny Lam.
Deputies who were conducting a welfare check on at their home at 16510 Glorietta Turn on Jan. 13, found the couple bound and shot execution style.

Investigators released surveillance video from the entrance of the Northgate Forest subdivision on Tuesday, which showed the men driving a Lincoln Navigator to the front of the subdivision and crawling under the gate said during a press conference on Wednesday that their office received several tips about the Navigator, which led to the arrest of the three men.

“I want to thank the Harris County community for helping our dedicated investigators bring justice to the Lam family and get these dangerous criminals off our streets,” Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said. “We join the Lam family in grieving our entire community’s loss.”
Homicide investigator Chris Sandoval said Wednesday that all three men had property with them from the Lam’s home when they were arrested.
Investigators believe the murder and robbery of the Lam’s was a random crime of opportunity.
If they are convicted, the men face a possibility of life in prison, or the death penalty.
