Teenager Shot And Killed In West Houston, Police Investigating
The 16-year-old was shot during an argument that escalated into a physical altercation at 1501 Big Bend Drive.

HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 16-year-old in West Houston Wednesday evening. The 16-year-old was found dead at 1501 Big Bend Drive at about 6:20 p.m., HPD said in a news release. The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
"Witnesses stated there was a large group of males and females engaged in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation among the females. At some point, an unknown suspect pulled a gun, shot the victim and then fled on foot," HPD added.
