Texans Keith Mumphrey Expelled From Michigan State For Sexual Misconduct Violation: Report
Ban stems from sexual assault allegation made by a fellow student Mumphrey met on a dating website.

HOUSTON, TX — Former Michigan State football player, and current Houston Texans wide receiver Keith Mumphrey was expelled and banned from the Michigan State campus and his graduate studies program last year amid allegations that he sexually assaulted a student in her dorm room in March 2015.

Mumphrey, 24, a 5th round draft pick by the Texans in 2015, met the woman through an online dating website several months before the alleged incident, and agreed to meet her at dorm room several weeks later.

However, the MSU police report includes conflicting accounts on exactly who was the aggressor, and whether or not the sexual liaison was consensual, KHOU reported.
The MSU police department forwarded the complaint to the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office in March 2015, but prosecutors declined to press charges, because the cause could not be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, according to Free Press.
