It's not only Bastille Day tomorrow; there are lots of great events and activities this weekend in the Houston area.

HOUSTON, TX -- This weekend in Houston will see some serious celebration and events. Not only is it Bastille Day on Friday, the celebration of the storming of Paris' Bastille prison in 1789 by revolutionaries, but there's lots more.
You can catch an Astros game or a roller derby match. You can enjoy a symphony or rap concert. Or, if it's to your taste, you can check out a tequila festival.

Bastille Day in Houston (Friday, July 14)
- Bastille Day at Brasserie Du Parc Houston in Downtown | 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. | $48 per person
- "Kick off the party at the bar and then head to the dinner table to enjoy a special menu created by Chef Philippe Verpiand and Chef Romain Mauger at Brasserie Du Parc Houston."
- Bastille Day at Bistro Provence in West Houston | 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- "This West Houston destination for all things French celebrates Bastille Day with a special menu showcasing dishes that represent the blue, white, and red of the French Flag. Menu items will be sold a la carte."
- Bastille Day at Etoile Cuisine et Bar in Uptown | 5 p.m. start time | $78 per person
- "Dine on a four-course dinner from Master Chef of France Philippe Verpiand accompanied by two optional wine pairings along with live music at Etoile Cuisine et Bar. $78 per person, with two optional wine pairings ($24 and $28)."
- Bastille Day at Rainbow Lodge in The Greater Heights | 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. | $35 ($40 the day of) per person
- "Enjoy a special wine tasting featuring wines from the locally owned winery, Liberation de Paris, in honor of Bastille Day this popular outpost in Shady Acres. Each wine will be paired with a delicious light bite."
- Bastille Day at Le Bistro in Northside Houston | 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. | $55 per person (discounts apply for kids)
- "Dance and celebrate Bastille Day just north of the Loop with the live singing duo Deborah Boily and Jerry Atwood. Tucked away inside Culinary Institute LeNôtre, Le Bistro will offer three different French buffets at Le Bistro."
