HOUSTON, TX — The weather could put a damper on outdoor activities this weekend, but just in case the clouds stay away, Patch has your handy guide of activities in Houston and the surrounding area this weekend.
- Pasadena Strawberry Festival | Pasadena, TX | May 19-21: The largest event in Pasadena, home of the World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake, Mud Volleyball, Carnival, BBQ cook off, specialty acts, Main Stage Entertainers, arts & crafts proceeds fund scholarships and TX history projects. - Precinct 4 Spring Creek Park Heritage Festival | Tomball, TX @ Spring Creek Park| May 20 from 10-3 p.m.: Enjoy a fun-filled day of educational, family friendly activities in one of Harris County’s most beautiful parks! Learn about the Native Americans, early American settlers, African Americans, and immigrants from France and Germany who played a vibrant role in the area's development. The festival will feature Civil War battle re-enactments, guided tours of the historic Spring Creek Park Cemetery, cultural demonstrations, food trucks, a children's educational archaeology dig, and more! This is a FREE event.

- 8th Annual Red, White & Blue Crawfish Festival | Dickinson, TX | May 20-21: Admission tickets for adults are $5.00 from now until 7:00 pm on the day of the Festival, Saturday, May 20, 2017. From 7:00 pm until close on the day of the Festival, adult admission tickets will be $10.00. Children 12 and under are free, and they will receive a ticket for purposes of tracking attendees. So, if you are buying tickets and are bringing children who are 12 and under, be sure to select the Childrens Admission Ticket option and we will include the number of tickets you need for your kids. Once you’ve gotten your admission tickets, you will have in-and-out privileges for the Festival all day long.
