Two Hurt On Southwest Airlines Flight To Houston
A woman was injured before the flight when she hit her head in the bathroom, and a man suffered a possible heart attack while landing.
HOUSTON, TX — Two passengers on a Southwest Airlines flight bound for Houston’s Hobby Airport required medical treatment for two separate incidents, officials said.
Southwest Airlines flight 2233 landed at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday from Raleigh-Durham Itnernational Airport and was met by EMS personnel who transported a 70-year old man to a local hospital.
The first incident happened shortly before the flight took off from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, when a 24-year old woman hit her head in the airplane bathroom, according to a KTRK report.

The second passenger, a 70-year old man, required CPR after airport officials said he possibly suffered cardiac arrest, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Officials said the second incident happened as the flight was coming on final approach at Hobby Airport.
The 70-year old passenger was taken to a local hospital when the plane touched down.
His condition is unknown.
