West Houston Gun Store Employees Fight Back As Thieves Try And Break In
Employees hold two at gunpoint until police arrive, exchange gunfire with three other suspects.

HOUSTON, TX -- Employees at a west Houston gun store captured two men who were trying to break in, and wounded another who fired shots at them while speeding away from the store.
Police said that at about midnight Tuesday, several men tried to break into the gun store near the Katy Freeway and Kirkwood Drive.
As they were trying to break in, two employees inside the store came outside and pointed their weapons at two of the men, who dropped their guns and surrendered.

The others ran and got into a car nearby and drove off, and fired at the two employees.
One of the employees fired an AR-15 at the car, hitting one of the men.

Police said that about 30 minutes after the attempted burglary, three men drove up to West Houston Medical Center and dropped of a man who’d been shot in the back.
Police are still looking for the remaining two suspects.
Charges against the three suspects are pending.
The case is under investigation.
