ATM Stolen From Gallery Furniture Store In North Houston

The thieves used power saws to steal the ATM unit, according to an overnight cleaning crew who witnessed the burglary.

HOUSTON HEIGHTS, TX -- An ATM terminal was stolen from the Gallery Furniture Store at their Interstate 45 location early Monday.

Police said thieves broke through the front of the store to steal the Woodforest National Bank ATM, which was thrown over a fence and loaded into a truck by the burglars.

An overnight cleaning crew witnessed the event, calling the police while backing away from the scene of the crime.

Nobody was hurt during the incident. Police arrived around 5 a.m. and conducted a search for the suspects using K-9 units, but the search was to no avail.

Police are currently reviewing surveillance footage in an effort to identify the suspects, according to FOX26.
