UHD’s Center for Public Deliberation, Student Government Association and Texas Rising @ UHD are inviting the University Community to an online Zoom deliberation, “Youth and Opportunity: What Should We Do for Future Generations to Thrive?, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27.

This event will feature students, elected officials, faculty, staff, faculty and external community in small group Zoom discussions to consider what can be done for future generations to thrive via three possible approaches: equip people to success, give everyone a fair chance and focus on economic security. In preparation, it is encouraged to read this issue guide about the three approaches.
