UHD Department Of Arts And Communication To Host 6th Annual Public Speaking Contest

University of Houston-Downtown students are invited to participate in the 6th Annual Public Speaking Contest hosted by the UHD Department of Arts and Communication.

"Rebuilding" is this year's speech theme. To enter, participants must submit a four-to-five-minute speech by uploading it to OneDrive then posting the link by the contest deadline of Nov. 8.

The top three contestants have a chance to win Amazon gifts.

The results will be announced in a video presentation the week following week.

The event is open to all current UHD students.
