The University of Houston-Downtown’s 71st Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Dec. 18 at NRG Stadium.

The event honors the accomplishments of UHD’s Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 graduates and will be celebrated in two ceremonies split by academic college as follows:

Morning Ceremony – 8:30 a.m.

Colleges Represented – Marilyn Davies College of Business, College of Sciences and Technology

Afternoon Ceremony – 2 p.m.

Colleges Represented – College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Public Service, University College

Related Events – Orientation and Ring Ceremony

Prior to the event, two in-person Cap and Gown and Commencement Orientations are planned at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 22. RSVP is required.

UHD’s Fall Ring Ceremony is scheduled at 10 a.m. Nov. 13 on campus. Student must have already pre-ordered their rings to participate. Visit the Ring Ceremony website for more details.
