Draining Projects Announced For Kingwood
Drainage projects located in the Forest Cove and Atascocita Shores communities will begin on Feb. 12.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Public Works Department (HPW) will be conducting two local drainage projects, beginning on Monday, Feb. 12.
The two projects are located in the Forest Cove and Atascocita Shores communities.
The Forest Cove local drainage project will include a roadside storm drain improvement on St. Andrews, from Players Path to Chestnut Ridge Road, and along Players Path, from St. Andrews to Harris County Flood Control Channel G103-38-01.

The Atascocita Shores storm sewer culvert repairs are located at 20723 Atascocita Shores Drive.

The repairs for this project include the removal and replacement of a collapsed storm drain.
During construction, drivers should expect reduced traffic speeds in these areas.
To ensure driver and worker safety, traffic control measures will be in place at all times.
The District E office has contacted the Houston Police Department's Kingwood Substation to ask that officers monitor the location and provide assistance with traffic control as needed.
