Fire Destroys 4 Buses In Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD Bus Barn
Arson is investigating the cause of a fire inside the Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD Bus Barn that burned 4 buses.

COLDSPRING, TX — Fire investigators fro San Jacinto County, and the bomb squad fro neighboring Montgomery County are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed four buses inside the Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD bus barn.
Firefighters were called to the bus barn at about 10 p.m. Wednesday for a fire with what sounded like explosions or popping noises inside the bus barn.
Fire fighters found four buses engulfed in flames when they arrived.

Officials said the popping noises reported could have been the tires exploding or popping glass from the heat, but investigators will be looking all possibilities, KPRC reported.

Investigators with the state fire marshal's office will also take part in the investigation, KHOU reported.
Leland Moore, superintendent for Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD, said the damage will impact some bus routes when students return to school from Spring Break on Monday.
The fire remains under investigation.
