Houston Police, Montgomery County Deputies Chase Down Four After Grocery Store Robbery

Three men allegedly robbed a store in Porter, and fled into Houston where they and their get away driver were arrested.

PORTER, TX -- The robbery of a Kroger store in Montgomery County, ended with a foot chase and subsequent arrest of four people in Harris County involved in the robbery.

The incident began at about 10 a.m. Thursday at the Kroger store at Interstate 69 and FM 1314 in Porter.

Witnesses said three men came into the Kroger store and demanded money from the cashier at the service center.

During the robbery, police said one shot was fired, but no one was injured.

The three men ran from the store to a waiting car driven by a young woman.

The suspects fled with Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies in pursuit.

The pursuit continued south into Harris County and into the Ranchview Trail neighborhood near Rankin Road, where all four suspects got out and ran.

Officers chased the suspects and all four were arrested.

Charges against the four suspects are pending.
