Police Investigate Possible Link In Two Notheast Houston Shootings [UPDATE]

Investigators believe the woman's estranged husband shot her to death outside her home, have not identified second shooter yet.

HOUSTON, TX -- Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are peicingt together evidence in tso separate shooting incidents that left a man and a woman dead early Monday.

Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was shot to death outside her home by her estranged husband.

When deputies arrived they found the 61-year old woman on her driveway.

Witnesses told investigators that the victim and her estranged husband, who were in the midst of a divorce, were fighting in the driveway, when he shot her to death.

Investigators said they are now looking for the estranged husband in conection with her shooting death.

He was last seen driving a black Toyota Tundra pickup.

Two hours after the woman was killed, investigators were alerted to a second shooting five miles away in the 12200 Kindred Drive.

Witnesses said a man driving a black pickup, pulled up to the buisness and shot their boss to death as he sat in his car in the parking lot.

Investigators have not yet determined if the woman's husband committed the second murder.
