Humble Animal Shelter Hopes To Place Pets In New Homes This Weekend

HUMBLE, TX — The City of Humble Animal Shelter will join with other shelters in the Greater Houston area for the annual Clear the Shelters event on Saturday, in an effort to place pets with new families.

If finding a furry friend is on your to do list this weekend, and the thought of a wagging tail or a gleeful purring is missing in your home, then you won’t have too look far.

In the Houston area alone, the number of stray cats and dogs is impossible to count with many of those animals lost or abandoned in rural areas of Harris County.

As a result, animal shelters in the Houston area will host pet adoption events in the Houston area.

Pet adoption centers in Houston participating in the Clear the Shelters event are:

Times for the Saturday event will vary per event location.
