Humble Area Woman Is Shot To Death In Front Of Her Son

HUMBLE, TX — An argument between neighbors at an Humble ara apartment complex Wednesday afternoon left one woman dead, and a man wounded.

The shooting happened just before noon in the 600 block if Wilson Road near Ross Sterling Middle School.

Witnesses said the victim was angry because a neighbor had accused her 11-year old son of stealing, KPRC reported.

Neighbors said the victim and her neighbor were oftenat odds, KTRK reported

Witnesses said the victim and her son were arguing with someone outside the apartment, when a man came out of the apartment next door and began shooting.

The victim wa shot once in the head and died at the scene, and an onlooker was also shot and went to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The man who fired the fatal shots drove off, and is still at large.

Police know who he is and are trying to find him.
