Humble ISD Cop Busted On Child Porn Charges

HUMBLE, TX — An Humble ISD police officer who was applying for a job with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office is on administrative leave after a background check and a subsequent polygraph test led to charges of possession of child pornography.

Jeffrey Warren Clark, 48, a patrol officer with the Humble Independent School District in northeast Houston, is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

Clark, who has not been arrested, allegedly admitted during his interview to viewing child pornography, according to a KPRC report.

"Some of the statements that he made alarmed investigators to consult our district attorney, which our DA felt gave us probable cause to get a search warrant and search his house, and it obviously was all on track with what our premonition was telling us, and we recovered hundreds of images of child pornography," Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman told KPRC.

Constable’s served a search warrant on Clark’s home in the 14600 block of Logan Falls Lane on Wednesday night , and found thousands of images related to child pornography and child exploitation, KHOU reported.

Meanwhile, Herman said he’s never seen anything quite like this in his 30 year law enforcement career.

According to Humble ISD, Clark, who was worked as a patrol officer for the district since 2015, worked night patrol and did not interact with school children.

Clark is on administrative leave ending the outcome of the investigation.
