Humble ISD, Sheriff's Office Advise Caution After Two Girls Approached While Jogging
Girls claim man flashed a knife at them hile they were jogging in Elm Grove subdivision.

KINGWOOD, TX -- Law enforcement and Humble ISD officials are advising residents to be cautious after two Kingwood Park High School students were threatened by a man with a knife.
Lisa Drabing, principal at Kingwood Park High School, sent a letter to parents after two female students who were jogging in the Elm Grove subdivision along Creek Manor Drive, were approached by someone driving a blue pickup.
As the pickup approached the girls, an Hispanic man who was believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, rolled down his window and began waving a knife and screaming at them.

The girls ran from the truck into a wooded area, which followed them and was joined by a black pickup with a lift, and another black pickup.
The girls met up with a man and his son who were riding bicycles in the area, who escorted them to the street and stayed with them as they called police.

The three pickup trucks sped off shortly.
Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's arrived a short time later and took the information from the two girls.
The incident was also reported to the Humble Independent School District Police who patrol schools.
The vehicles were described as:
- An older model blue Chevy pick-up truck, low to the ground with chipped paint and no license plate.
- A black Ford with a lift, light bar, large tires and pink scripted writing on the windshield.
- A late model black two-door Chevy pickup.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Humble ISD police, or the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
