Kingwood Public Safety Committee discusses fire, crime and flooding statistics
The Public Safety Committee of the Kingwood Service Association welcomed representatives from the Houston Police Department (HPD) and the Houston Fire Department (HFD) at their monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 11.
The crime statistics in Kingwood through June of this year were reported, and the number of crime incidents totaled 739. The incidents included 46 aggravated assaults, 75 auto thefts, 147 burglarized motor vehicles, 107 burglaries, 82 incidents of criminal mischief, nine incidents of fraud and one of embezzlement, 20 robberies, five sexual assaults, and 220 thefts.
