Kingwood Waitress Loses Job After Bird-Flipping Facebook Post Goes Viral
Waitress says people have blown the post out of proportion.

KINGWOOD, TX -- A local waitress who showed her disdain for law enforcement by giving the bird while standing next to a Harris County Sheriff’s vehicle, has been fired.
Rachel Ali, who until Monday worked as a server at the Los Cucos Tex-Mex Restaurant in Kingwood, lost her job after the photo, which was posted on her Facebook page in May, went viral.
According to a Houston Chronicle report, Ali’s post has been shared thousands of times and provoked a flurry of negative reaction on social media.

"They're disgusted, especially by seeing this happen so close to home," Tom Moore, President of the Harris County Fraternal Order of Police, told KHOU. "I think she's going to learn from her actions that there's consequences and they're not all good. She needs to be unemployable in the service industry."
Meanwhile, Ali said the post was shared before she was employed by the Tex-Mex eatery, said she meant no harm by the Facebook post, and that she’d also posted a photo of herself standing by the same vehicle giving the peace sign.
