Pedestrian Killed On Kingwood Railroad Tracks

Police are trying to determine why a man may have been walking along the railroad tracks when he was hit by a train early Monday morning.

KINGWOOD, TX — A man who police believe may have been walking along the railroad tracks early Monday morning, as hit by a train and killed.

The man’s body was discovered at about 3 a.m., behind a shopping center at Loop 494 and Hamblen Road.

Police believe the man, who has not been ideitified, was hit sometime before 2:45 a.m., but they are unclear why he was on the tracks.

The accident is under investigation.
