Police Arrest Kingwood Woman Who Birthed Child In Toilet
Prosecutors alleged that Stephanie Annette Brock, 21, was high on opiates and marijuana when she gave birth in a toilet on March 1.

KINGWOOD, TX — A Kingwood woman who allegedly gave birth to her son in a toilet on March 1, is facing felony charges of injury to a child.
Stephanie Annette Brock, 21, is in the Harris County Jail because investigators said she was high on narcotics at the time, and failed to get her infant son medical treatment after his birth.
The incident was reported on March 17, and officials learned there were drugs in the baby's system when he was born.

According to a KPRC report, Brock used marijuana and opiates before giving birth.

Brock was arrested on on an unrelated charge March 17, but prosecutors in the case filed additional charges on Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Brock's bail is set at $45,000.
