Thieves Smash Through Humble Store Front To Grab ATM Machine

HUMBLE, TX -- Police are looking for three men who smashed through the front of a Valero store and stole an ATM machine Friday morning.

Police said three men drove a truck through the front of the Valero Food Mart at Mesa Road and Beltway 8 at about 3 a.m.

They hit our wall three times for the ATM, and they were able to take it," Store manager, Jose Rodriguez told KPRC.

Surveillance footage shows that the truck hit the front of the building three times, and once inside got the ATM machine in the truck and drove off.

The thieves got away with an unknown amount of cash inside the ATM and caused thousands of dollars in damages to the store front.

An employee who was working the overnight shift, hid in the freezer when she heard the crash.
