Here are the top five stories in Irving today:
- The Texas Broadband Development Office (BDO) is looking for your opinion on your needs and experience with broadband. Click over to the City of Irving site to take a brief survey on the topic. Responses will help the agency determine how much funding to seek in upcoming years.
- Organic tacos, artisan ice cream and farm-to-fork dining are headed to Dallas' West Village. Take a jaunt to CultureMap Dallas to discover four new eateries opening soon.
- Children's Family Night at Six Flags is coming on April 1 to benefit Children's Health. The event is being hosted by the Women's Auxiliary to Children's Medical Center Dallas. Tickets are going for $40 per person. Plus, the event, which will run from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m., promises shorter lines than typical visits to the park. (My Sweet Charity)
- Metrocrest Services honors two local do-gooders: Aaron Augustine and The Branch Church. Both entities were chosen for their consistent efforts to make a difference in the lives of those in need. The award ceremony is scheduled for April 5. (Star Local Media)
