The funding is part of DART's long-term Transform program to modernize infrastructure and improve comfort, reliability, and resilience across its 12-city North Texas network. Procurement for the new fleet is already underway.

The company says a cyberattack led to unauthorized access to third-party applications and some data, though details on specific information exposed remain limited. After initially seeming to accept responsibility, she claims the company later denied her damage claim, prompting her to consider court while other customers online share similar complaints about the chain's service.
