City Of Irving: Irving Interchange Closures: Loop 12, Spur 482, SH 114, SH 183

TxDOT has several road closures planned for Aug. 2-7 affecting major roadways as part of the Irving Interchange project:

• The northbound Loop 12 frontage road will close from the Loop 12 entrance ramp at Hinton Road to Grauwyler Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, Monday, Aug. 2 through Saturday, Aug. 7.
• Northbound Spur 482 will fully close, from the westbound State Highway 114 (SH 114) frontage road to the eastbound SH 183 frontage road, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, Tuesday, Aug. 3 through Saturday, Aug. 7.
• Southbound Spur 482 will fully close, from the westbound SH 114 frontage road to the eastbound SH 183 frontage road, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, Tuesday, Aug. 3 through Saturday, Aug. 7. 
• The eastbound SH 183 direct connector ramp to northbound Loop 12 will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, Tuesday, Aug. 3 through Saturday, Aug. 7. 
• The westbound SH 114 exit ramp to Texas Plaza Drive will permanently close at 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3. 
• Eastbound SH 183 express and main lanes will close, from the Regal Ridge Parkway exit ramp to Maryland Drive, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, Thursday, Aug. 5 through Saturday, Aug. 7.

These closures are weather permitting and subject to change. Detours will be in place with signage, where appropriate. 

The work is part of the $301 million Irving Interchange project that will reconstruct the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. The project is anticipated to be completed in mid-2023.
