The City of Irving welcomes back the community for a special two-day Independence Day Celebration July 3-4. Join in the fun as Irving celebrates "Bringing Back the Spark" with the annual community parade on July 3. Irving's Independence Day parade has been voted 'Best Community Event in Irving' for the past several years. The parade features entries by community organizations, businesses and families, including floats and custom vehicles.

Applications are now being accepted online for this year's Independence Day Parade. Entries are due by 5 p.m., Monday, June 21.
- Participation in the parade is free. All entries must be decorated in good taste with a patriotic theme.
- All parade participants must have a signed parade waiver form.
- There is a mandatory meeting for all participants on Tuesday, June 29 at Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd.
